FALLing into Disney Style

It's that magical time of year again... when all things pumpkin, plaid, and cozy make their return. I couldn't be happier! Don't get me wrong, I love colorful and pastel outfits for spring and summer... but your girl THRIVES in fall. I'm all about them comfy layers and building an outfit with more pieces. I feel more put together and I just love the season so much.

Aside from being my fav fashion season, fall is the start of the "holiday season" to me. I love the lead up to Halloween, catch me at the pumpkin patch for sure. Then after the ~*spooky*~ time, it is my birthday (nov. 5th)! And thennnnn it is Thanksgiving and Christmas, so yeah.. the holiday season in full force. Plus, for the past few years, I've been lucky enough to have my annual pilgrimage to Disney World during the fall too, and this year it's happening again. IT IS ALL HAPPENING.

Back to the style side of fall! We all know I love to wear my Disney Style year round and out of the parks. There are a couple key things I do to bring my Disney tees and such into the fall season. So I wanted to share them with you so you can get inspired too!

Tee: Pixie Lee & Co. (use discount code WISH10) || Shorts (sold out): Zara ||
Shoes (similar): Vans || Scarf: Madewell

ONE || put a scarf on it!
It is becoming no secret that I love a good bandana/scarf. I think they are the easiest way to elevate your outfit! Mostly, I wear them around my neck, but they are super versatile. You can wear it as a chic headband, around your pony, on your wrist, on your purse... instant FASHION. And when you pair the bandana with a tee? BOOM, your look is good to go. It works for fall and I personally just like to make my tee shirt more *chic* with a little extra flair.

Tee: Happily Ever Tees || Scarf: Madewell || Scrunchie: Rarity by Casey ||
Ears: Shop House of Mouse || Shorts: Target

My absolute favorite bandana scarves are from Madewell. They are reasonably priced and sometimes certain ones will be on sale. They are a thinner cotton, so not stiff at all and are very comfortable. I want every color & print in existence. They also have these cute silky skinny ones, I have one that I use in my hair occasionally. Hot tip: sign up for their "insider" program, which is basically just the email list, so you can get free shipping on every order! Huzzah!

TWO || flannels for days
Okay, so I know most of my readers are from warmer states (hi FL fam!) or you are reading this for inspo for your next parks trip, so wearing flannels might not be an option most fall days. HOWEVER, you can soooo use flannels for your fall disney style on hot days! Tie that baby around your waist and you got instant fall coolness. For me, I love it because it adds a distraction to my widest body part (hello hips & butt for days) and again, it just gives a little umph to my tee shirt and leggings outfit. And when it does get cooler out, you can wear these open with a tee... love it!

Tee: Pixie Lee & Co. || Flannel: American Eagle ||
Jeans:
Old Navy || Shoes: Adidas

Layering in general is fun to play around with in cooler seasons! Flannels, cardigans, tees under dresses... the more layers, the more fun you can have with textures and colors for fall!

Tee: Lost Bros || Flannel: J. Crew Factory ||
Leggings: Loft || Ears: Magic Made Co (use code WISH10 to save!)

My fav flannels right now are from American Eagle, in particular the boyfriend style. They are super soft and come in cute colors. Abercrombie has some cute ones too, but I usually have to size up from there. Actually, in general I tend to size up on these so they are more oversized. Old Navy has some cute ones too, though they aren't as nice of quality in my opinion (but more affordable so you get stock up on diff colors to play with!)

THREE || booties rockin everywhere
Okay, so park shoes are hard to mix it up with. If you need to wear your trusty sneakers, you gotta do what you gotta do. But for those of us rocking our disney style at home... you can mix up your outfits with your fav fall shoes! For me, I make my disney tees and outfits more autumnal by rocking booties or some darker colored shoes. My trust booties from target are no longer available but they've stuck with me through muddy messes and rain storms, plus they're stinkin cute. These ones from target are very similar... and I also love these ones. Target boots in general are super affordable and I have had super good luck with them over the years.

Tee: Walt's Wardrobe (use code WISH10 to save!) || Shorts (old, similar): Loft ||
Shoes (similar): Target || Ears: Magic Made Co (use code WISH10 to save!)

I also love swapping out my usual birkenstock sandals for vans when I am going more casual! Any other darker sneaks will get the job done, making any outfit less summer-y. My go-tos are these vans sneakers and these checkered slip ons.

These are just a couple tips on how I take my disney style into this new, cooler, moodier season while still playing with color and fun pieces. Let me know you favorite tips! And, as always, thanks for reading.
